On entering territorial waters, 12 nautical miles for the nearest coast, Valletta Port Control is to be contacted on VHF Channel 12 or 9 and advised of the name of the yacht, flag, length overall and agent’s name. Customs pratique has to be effected at the appropriate Customs House at Marsamxetto Harbor or Grand Harbor before proceeding to enter Manoel Island Marina. For this operation yacht registration papers, passports and crew list are to be presented to the Customs and Immigration Officers.
